B.Ed. Programme
The B.Ed. course was started in the year 1950. From 2015 onwards, the one-year B.Ed. programme of the College has been restructured as a two-year programme consisting of four semesters, as per the norms of NCTE and TNTEU.

This theory component consists of 12 papers, comprising 11 Core Courses and 1 Elective Course, selected from six choices.

Curricular and Pedagogic Studies
This component is designed to enable students to specialize in their school subjects through Optional I and Optional II.

This includes school internship, tasks and assignments, and the course on Enhancing Professional Capacities.
